This afternoon I was waiting for students to board the bus. Sometimes I take my turn on WordFeud but today I thought of my Duolingo lesson. Maybe I could get a quick section finished. All went well and I was even trying to repeat some of the sentences out loud. I think Duolingo is teaching me to spell the Norwegian language even more than speaking it.
One of my students came to the front of the bus and asked what language I am studying. I said, "Norwegian" and he excitedly said, "Me too! " That is a first for me! I've never met another person who is trying to learn this language.
When we travel to Norway we hope to visit this place where our ancestors lived.
